Frequently Asked Questions

Genesis University is an affordable and cost-effective solution where we have minimized our costs to fees that just cover our internal costs. We do not charge a per credit hour tuition like the traditional Universities. Hence we proudly consider ourselves a Tuition-FREE online education, and our sustainable model is based on nominal fees per program and courses needed to cover our costs.

Genesis University has met the requirements of state law to operate and award degrees pursuant to Section 1005.06(1)(f), Florida Statutes and Rule 6E-5.001, Florida Administrative Code. Genesis University is still working on further national and international accreditation that requires a multi-year review. We hope to be nationally and internally accredited in the near future.

All Genesis classes take place 100% online and the textbooks are electronic formal and included as part of the course.

Genesis University admits all students who desire to study in a spiritually disciplined atmosphere and agree with Genesis’s Terms and Conditions. Depending on the program you are seeking to enroll in, students must submit an online application and a valid transcript from a previous school where applicable. We will create a custom proposal based on your prior experience and needs. Find more about our program here

All our programs have foundation courses that are similar across programs with differences in specialization and research. You can do a Bachelor’s and Master’s program together faster and cheaper. Similarly, you can do a Masters and Doctorate together faster and cheaper. You will not need to retake any classes you have already taken for a prior degree with us, as we will just transfer the credit.

Each course typically takes a month of dedication to complete but we do understand at times, things get delayed and we do provide exceptions on a case-by-case basis. One-month intensive courses start each week on Monday and end 30 days later at 11:59 PM EST.

It depends on the program you are completing. An Associate requires 60 credit hours; Bachelor’s 120 credits; a Master’s 60 credits; and Doctoral 60 credits. Depending on your pace, one can graduate between 1-5 years.

Yes. Upon review, Genesis University will validate what credits could be transferred and transfers credits from both authorized US and non-US educational institutions as they seem applicable.

Nope! Graduation attendance is not required for online students. Upon program completion, students will receive their award at the address provided to Genesis University.
